Computer Science Applicant Day Presenter
University of Surrey - Guildford, England
I am a passionate developer with a keen interest in the latest technologies.
With experience working on multiple robust globally released products, I strive to create
impact on others lives to be more creative, productive, and fun.
Along with my development work, I actively support diversity and inclusion in the technology
industry through various community events and organizations.
I earned a first-class BSc(Hons) degree in Computing and Information technology where I learnt primarily computer science topics supplemented with business management, finance, and entrepreneurship modules. I was honored to be awarded the "IBM Prize for Best Final Year Performance". As a part of my studies, I completed an industrial placement year at Microsoft as a software engineer working on Paint 3D in London. This led to the opportunity to work on the Xbox team at Microsoft's HQ in Redmond, WA for a period of three months. I was incredibly fortunate to work on both of these teams from whom I learnt so much.
Through creating events, public speaking, leading community groups, & advocating for women in STEM, I strive to support the growth of my peers and related institutions. My motivation is to empower others to achieve success & fulfillment whether it be fellow employees, students, or future technologists.
My efforts focus on career development opportunities, mentorship, and industrial engagement.

I founded HerHelloWorld in 2018 to mentor new technologists, create an inclusive tech-centered community, and share the dynamic nature of the tech industry in the aim of helping build a more representative industry. HerHelloWorld is where I answer early-in-career questions, review books, discuss changes in technology, share events that I attend or speak at, and address barriers for women entering STEM.
